S. C. Times Office, Friday Evening. The market in Timaru is quiet in every description of grain, and low sales are reported. A considerable quantity of wheat is leaving per steamers for transhipment to the Eavenscraig at Lyttelton, and Wild Deer at Port Chalmers. These shipments sbonld have the effect of making wheat firmer here. The quotations for the week are Wheat, milling, 4s to 4s 4d; fowl do., 2a 3d to 3s; oats, milling, 2s lOd to 2s 11; feed, 2s 7d to 2s 9d; barley. iMlting, 4s to 4s fid ; feed, 2s 9dto 3s 3d.
