All the Envoys who took part in the conference have signed a protocol of the disavowal of right of any Power to take individual action or advantage in Egypt. In view of the serious aspect of the Egyptian question, great efforts have been made by the Government to bo prepared for despatching a force of British troops to Egypt if it should be found necessary. An expeditionary force has been organised, and 20,000 troops of all arms are now ready to embark in a case of necessity.
