Egyptian Affairs. June 27. The conference of, European Ambassadors on the Egyptian question has concluded its sittings. All the Envoys who took part in the conference have signed a protocol of the disavowal of right of any Power to take individual action or advantage in Egypt. In view of the serious aspect of the Egyptian question, great efforts have been made by the Government to bo prepared for despatching a force of British troops to Egypt if it should be found necessary. An expeditionary force has been organised, and 20,000 troops of all arms are now ready to embark in a case of necessity.

CommercialConsols have further fallen to 994. Hew Zealand securities remain at the following quotations : —5 per cent 10-diO loan, 106?; 5 per cent 1889 loan, 106; per cent 1879*1904 loan, 106. Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, is unchanged at ols. Now Zealand ditto has declined to 495. Adelaide flour, ex store, is quoted at 355. Aus* tralian tallow is unchanged, best beef being worth 42s 6d, and best mutton 43s 6d. Wool Sales, At to-day’s wool auction 93000 bales were catalogued. The tone of the sale was quiet.
