The schooner Wanganui left Dunedin for this port last evening; The s.s. Grafton is expected to call at this port to-morrow from Oamaru, cn route for northern ports. The s.s. Albion arrived from Lyttelton this morning. , She loads grain for transhipment at Port Chalmers^on account of Messrs ,J. and T. Meek, and the N.Z.G.A.; Company; The Albion is advertised to sail for Port Chalmers atsp.m, to-morrow, A small vessel was in sight off the port this morning, apparently frying to make the harbor. ’ S" ' ' The City, of Perth left for Port Chalmers to-day, in tow of the p.s, Lyttelton. Such repairs as were necessary for. her safety, during the passage, were effected yester-' day, and if the present weather continues,i no difficulty is ianticipatcd in towing her round.
