It has transpired that informal negotiations have been opened between the the supporters of Government and Mr Francis, with a view to an understanding being arrived at in regard to the Budget proposals. An interview is known to have taken place between Mr Francis' and Sir Bryan O’Loghlon in reference to a the position of affairs. Later. It has transpired that Mr Francis, during the negotiations winch have been proceeding for a settlement of the Ministerial crisis,stated ho was agreeable to withdraw bis amendment, which the Government had decided to Iroat as a vote of want of confidence, if Sir Bryan O’Loghlon will promise to allow his proposals for the remission of taxation to bo negatived when they are brought before the Assembly for discussion. Grain. ■ Adelaide, June 19. Holders of wheat are unwilling to operate except at higher prices.
