The London “ Times ” this morning published a telegram from Egypt, ntating that the Khedive and Dervish Pasha, the Chief Turkish Commissioner, have sent a request to the Sultan that 18,000 Turkish troops should be despatched without delay to Alexandria, Later, The statement contained in a telegram published on Tuesday morning, that the Khedive and Dervish Pasha had requested the Sultan to despatch 18,000 Turkish troops to Egypt, is now fully confirmed. The proposition to hold a Conference for the settlement of the Egyptian question is now gaining fresh prominence in European political circles. Cairo, June 14. The British, French, and other Con-suls-General resident here have gone to AlexandriaJune 15. A general exodus of Europeans from this city to Alexandria is taking place.

The offices of the English and French Conirollers-General have been closed. Alexandria, June 14. The ringleaders in the recent attack upon Europeans have been arrested. In consequence of the unsettled condition of the city the garrison has been largely increased. The total force ,of troops here now is 12,200. June 15. The British, German, French and Greek vessels now in port have been ordered to take on board any subjects of their respective countries who may desire to embark. Two hundred natives have in all been arrested in connection with the recent outbreak. A Commission has been appointed to enquire into the cause of the recent native riots and attacks upon Europeans.
