Tbo elevation of the .venerable baronet to the House of Lords, ■ would not only be gratifying to the whole Jewish community but would at • the presentmomemt bo specially oppor- ■ • tune as a moral, protest on the part ■of , Her Majesty agaipst the outbreak of anti* Jewish feeling which is now causing, such lamentable occurrences in ißussia' and Germany. Sir Moses is now in hi& 98th year.
