lion should be the same as at present existing for the District Courts; (3) That on this change being effected the District Court should ho abolished ; (4) That in the first; instance the amount under the amended jurisdiction and ..procedure of the Supreme Court should be £SOOO ; (5) that tho costs of the proceedings should be fixed by a. sliding sca'e of percentage for both, sides, that is to say, that the successful barty can only obtain costs according to a certain percentage, and 1 that the solicitor, in charging' his own client, should also only charge percentage on the amount recovered by plaintiff, or in cases where plaintiff fails, his solicitor should only chafge as per scale ; (6) that the sitting of the Court under tho simpler jurisdiction should’bo fixed by the Judges, and should, at tho largo centres of population, bo hold at least once a ■fortnight,” Copies of the resolutions will bo sent to other Chambersjof merco.
