as speaker, Mr McAndrow seconded the motion, both speaking in eulogistic terms of the past conduct of Sir G. M. O’Rorke. Mr Levestam is now speaking in condemnation of Mr O’Rorke’s action on the Representation Bill and characterising it as trampling law under foot.
Sir Michael O’Rorko has been unanimously elected Speaker of the House of Representatives.
