INQUEST.

An inquest on the bodies of Emmanuel Neilson, D. McLean, and another (supposed to be Martin Bates) was held this afternoon, at the Melville Hotel, before J, Beswick, Esq. R.M., Coroner, and a jury, consisting of : —E,. R. Taylor (foreman), F. Rutter, P. Sinclair,W. A. Hobbs, C. Hill, J. Cockroft, T. G. Cork, I. Fonseca, A. Bambridge. The jury having been duly sworn, proceeded to view the bodies. His Worship suggested that it would be desirable to adjourn (he inquest to Monday week, in order that, should any other bodies be recovered, one inquest would suffice. He understood that several jurors wished to attend the funeral. .. The inquest, therefore, was adjourned.
