Waitald will make her usual biweekly trip to this port from Dunedin tomorrow. The schooner Saxon arrived this morning from Kaipara. She brings the second consignment of timber for the wharf extension. The harbor was comparatively smooth to-day, and shipping work is again going on. Owing to the heavy sea during the last three days, little work has been done at either wharf or service. There is liltle now to be seen of the wreck of the Duke of Sutherland save a few heads of timber. The fall of the iron masts, together with the swelled grain,: broke away the top sides evening, and this morning little was left butherjkeelson. Her cargo and stores were washed out during the night.
