Mails close at the Chief Post Office Timaru, for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : Tuesday, May 2, For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Wanaka, at 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 3. For Australian Colonies, per Te Anau, at 4 p.m (will connect with Orient steamer leaving Melbourne on 17th inst.) Thursday, May 4, For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Botomahana, at 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 10. For Australian Colonies, per Albion, at 4 p.m. (will connect with the steamer leaving Melbourne on May 23.) Saturday, May 16.
