LibelMelbourne, April 29. On tlie application of tho plaintiff, a new trial has been ordered in the libel action, brought by Mr 11. R. Williams, Mini&tor for Mines in the late Berry Administration, against the “ Argus,” in which a verdict was, on the 15th ult. returned for tho defendants. Aquatics. The intercolonial eight-oar boat race between Victoria and New South Wales crews was rowed to day- on tho Yarra, and resulted in a victory for the Sydney men, who won by three lengths.
