CHRISTCHURCH CORN EXCHANGE,

Corn Exchange report for the week ending Friday evening, April 14: — . Theie is no change to report in the state of the market, and values are unaltered ; prices continue firm for all classes of produce.

Wheat—Tuscan wheat in shipping lines will command from 4s 7d te 4s 9d per bushel f.0.b.; exceptionally fine Tuscan, fit for seed, is worth from '4s 9d to 4s lOd per bushel in Christchurch. Pearl, velvet chaff and Hunter’s white range from 4s fid to 4s 8d per bushel, f.0.b.; second quality wheat is worth from 4s Id to 4s 5d per bushel, f.0.b.; broken and chick wheat ranges from 2s 6d to 3s Gd per bushel, Oats—Good milling samples sell ' freely, at from 3s 3d to 3s 6J per bushel; fair to good feed parcels, from 3s Id to 3s 2d per bushel.

. Barley—Really good malting is in request, and saleable at from 4s to 4s 6d per bushel; second quality malting is not enquired for; feed samples, 2s 9d to 3s per bushel,' , .....
