ARTESIAN WELLS, IN, VICTORIA.

"1. That a very large aggregate quantity >ofi fresh- water is in constant: motion seaward beneath the Wimmera' district, crossing aline, say, from Donald to ,tbe .north-west corner of Yictbriai ' 2. That there, is a-strong probability of such waters being under pressure sufficient to cause them to rise to within a short distance of, if not above, the surface, and that once found the supply will be inexhaustible.
