Reid & Gtray, AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT MAKERS, Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, Invercargill, Christchurch, Ashburton, MELBOURNE EXHIBITION, Reid and Gray won the only Gold Medal for Double Furrow Ploughs at the Melbourne Exhibition. Vida Extract from Jurors’ Report—- “ Ploughs—ln Ploughs there is one Exhibit to which we wish to draw special attention to as being the best, and that is the Double Furrow Plough of Reid and Gray, of Dunedin, New Zealand. In finish and construction it is far superior to any other.” The Double Furrow was the only Plough of any description that we exhibited at the Melbourne Exhibition. / Our Double Furrow also took Ist Prize at the Agricultural Societies’ Shows at Christchurch, Timaru, Oamaru, Invercargill, and Dunedin. We would also draw special attention to our CORN DRILLS, which have this season been greatly improved by the substitution of malleable iron in place of cast iron for all the parts liable to breakages. We supplied over 30 last season, all of which have given unqualified satisfaction. All sizes, made from 8 to 20 coulters, Our Corn Drills gained first prizes this season at Timaru, Ashburton, Christchurch, and Dunedin, beating- both the American and English exhibits.
