[Bjbotsb’s Agency.j London, April 8. The Mails. The Australian and New Zealand mails via San Francisco, which left Auckland on February 28fcb, were delivered here to-day. The “Times” on Australian Settlement. The “ Times,” commenting in its issue to-day upon the announcement of the great land sale at Burrabozi, New South Wales, states that it affords a splendid opening in Australia for the English gentry who are seeking cheap land, health, and occupation. Cyclone. A disastrous cyclone passed over the States of Kansas and Michigan. Many persons were killed and seriously injured, and a large amount of property has been destroyed.
