The attendance "was good and buyers in abundance for all lines submitted to the hammer at the following quotations Fowl wheat, 8s to 10s per sack ; oats, 3s 3d per bushel; bran, 80s per ton ; flour, £ll per ton ; potatoes. 50s to 60s ; onions, 9s per cwt; bacon, 4d to 6d : hams, 5d to 9d per lb ; butter, 8d per lb; lard, Bd per lb; Stewart Island oysters, 8d per dozen ; rolled, bacon, Bd ; honey, 3Jd ; poultry, no entries ; groceries, furniture and sundries found buyers at fair figures. , '■ .
