(Christchurch section) OPENING OP CHRISTCHURCH INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION, APRIL 10; ON SATURDAY, April 8, a Special Passenger Train will leave Timaru lor Christchurch at 1.10 p.m., stopping where required, arriving in Christchurch at 6,35 p.m. ON MONDAY,'APRIL 10, in lieu of the 7.30 a.m. Train, Timaru to Ashburton, a Train will leave Timaru at 5 a m , stopping where required, arriving at Christchurch at 9.35 a.m., in time for the Opening of the Exhibition. The following Time Table for the two trains above referred to shews in brackets the times at which the Trains may he expected at the roadside Stations between Timaru and Ashburton, where they stop if required

A special Train will leave Christchurch for Timaru at 7.50 p.m. on the 10th, arriving at Timaru at 12.30. a.m., stopping where required to set down passengers. FARES TO CHRISTCHURCH. Ordinary Single Fare Tickets to Christchurch issued on 6th, 7th, Bth, or 10th April, will be available for return up to and including the 12th. Ordinary Single Fare Tickets to Christchurch, issued during the time the Exhibition is open, by any Station in the Provincial District of Canterbury, will be available for return same as ordinary return tickets. They are to be marked on the outside “ Tender for Timaru Station, Passenger Buildings Contract.” and addressed to the Hon the Minister for Public Works, Dunedin. Telegraphic tenders, similarly addressed and marked, will be received if presented at any telegraph office by Noon of the same date, provided that written tenders are lodged at any District or Resident Engineer’s Office by the same hour. Drawings, specifications and general conditions may be seen on and after sth proximo, at this Office, and the Public Works Office at Christchurch, and Railway Station at Timaru.
