(Per Pbess Association.) Christchurch Pilling Up. Christchurch, April 8. Tho weather is overcast with occasional showers of rain. Visitors are arriving rapidly from all Iparts of the colony for the Exhibition and races* The Timaru Artillery. A detachment of the Timaru Artillery arrived last night to take part in the Exhibition proceedings. Further detachments of Southern Volunteers are expected to-day. The Weather. Heavy rain is now falling and it seems likely to continue for some time. Sports Postponed* Dunedin, April 8. ’ The sports are postponed, owing to the bad weather.
