The schooner Julius Vogel will sail this evening for Hokianga in ballast. > The S.s., Waitaki will sail for Dunedin about si* : o’clock this evening with cargo shipped by the N.M and A. Company and N-Z.M.P, Company, The ships in harbor flew their flags halfmast to-day as a token of respect for the father of Captain Morgan (of the barque Ganymede), who died recently in England. The fine weather now experienced enables the work of discharging vessels in port to be carried on vigorously, the breakwater presenting a very lively appearance (bis afternoon. A very noticeable difference may be observed in the location of the shipping how and formerly trading to this Port. Only a very short time ago the vessels were posted all along the roadstead: this afternoon they are “clustered” near to and Under shelter of the Breakwater.
