April 4—Waitaki, s.'s., 228 tons, for Dunedin* , April's—Dunedin, schooner, Brebner, for Greymouth, in ballast. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Pareora, ship,, from Lyttelton; early Arabella, barque, from Auckland, early Waimea, barque, from Wellington,early. The barque Ganymede and ship Benvennue have arrived in the roadstead, but had not entered at the Customs when we went to press. The barque Campsie Glen is being rapidly discharged, the major portion of her cargo having already left the ship. Two lighters will tender her with ballast to-morrow morning, if possible. The Timaru roadstead presented ito-day a very pleasing and gay appearance, the ten or more vessels at anchor crowding all available bunting into the rigging in honor of the marriage of Captain Everist, of the barque Thurso, who was married to-day in Christchurch. , |
