UNION C.C. v. BLUE BOYS O.G.
On Saturday last the public school ground was occupied by i the/ above Clubs, victory, after a hard contest, resulting in favor of the United Club, for whom Gooch and Hassall in the second, innings did good service, they putting together 39 while, at the wickets. For the Blue Boys, Cork was.the only one to get into double figures in the first innings, a like position being held by J. dole in the second. Had one of the three last wickets been' able to stay, no doubt the ■ required runs would have been jmade.
