Distance, about l£ miles. 1.45 p.m.— Sires’ Produce Stakes, of 90 sovs; distance, 6 furlongs. Colts, Bst 101 b; fillies, Bst 51b. Acceptors to pay a sweep of 5 sovs on night Of general entries, amount of sweep to go to the second horse. 2.30 p.m.— Timabu Cup, a handicap of 200 sovs, with a sweepstake of 5 sovs for acceptors; amount accruing from the sweep to go to the second horse; nomination, 2 sovs ; acceptance, 4 sovs ; distance, 1| miles. 3.45 p.m.— Flying Handicap, of 50 sovs; ■ nomination, 1 sov; acceptance, 1 sov; distance, f miles. 4.30 p.m.— Selling Hack Race, of 10 sovs ; distance, 1 mile, No weight under Bst. Nominations for the Timara Cup, Flying Handicap, S.O.J.C. Handicap, Hurdle Bace, and Winter Oats Handicap to be made to the Secretary not later than Monday March 13th, at 9 p.m. Weights to be out on Friday, April 14th, Acceptances, with Sweep and General Entries, up to 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 20th. All entries and acceptances must be in sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary, Grosvenor Hotel, Timaru, and contain entrance money; sweepstakes, qualification fee, description, age and name of horse, and colors to be worn by jockey.
