TIMARU AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL ASSOCIATION.
A meeting of the committee of this Association was held this afternoon. Present—Messrs McKerrow (chairman), J. Kelland, A. Wylie, D, Maclean, D. McLaren, A. 0. Pringle, H. Ford, A. W. Wright, J. W. Hardie, and a R. Orbel.
The President wrote apologising for his inability to attend the meeting. It was suggested that, in view of the paucity of attendance, the Association meet once in every three months, but the suggestion .was not . favourably received. , , r
The next general meeting was fixed to be held on March 25.
It was proposed by Mr Henry Ford, seconded .by Mr A.W. Wright and carried . —“ That a charge of sixpence per head be made on all stock entered at the ram fair, the same to be collected by the respective salesmen from their clients.” Sundry accounts wore passed for'payment, and the meeting terminated.
