[By Telegraph.] Beightwater, March 2 It rained steadily this morning, and the shooting was suspended until two o’clock, when the Carbine Championship will be decided. The ten highest rifles aggregate in each island will take part in the Marlborough match. Last night a meeting of members of the Associatian was held, when the proposal of tho Committee to recommend the Council to take into early consideration the question of making the annual meetings of the Association moveable in lieu of the present arrangement was adopted, the proposition being supported almost unanimously. The result of the Carbine Championship is Gordon, Thames, 210 ; Parry, Wanganui, 208 ; Howie, Waverley, 204 ; Parslow, Thames, 203.
