Distance, about 1£ miles. 1.45 p.m.— Sires’ Produce Stakes, of 90 sovs; distance, 6 furlongs. Co'ts, Bst 101 b; fillies, Bst 51b. Nominations for the Timaru Gup, Flying Handicap, S.C.J.C. Handicap, Hurdle Race, and Winter Oats Handicap to be made to the Secretary not later than Monday March 13th, at 9 p.m. Weights to be out on Friday, April 14th, Acceptances, with Sweep and General Entries, up to 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 20th. All entries and acceptances must be in sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary, Grosvenor Hotel, Timaru, and contain entrance money, sweepstakes, qualification fee, description, age and name of horse, and colors to be worn by jockey.
