Mails close at the Chief Post Office Timarn, for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : Saturday, Feb. 11. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Wanaka, at 2.50 p.m. The Omaha will leave Lyttelton for Chathams. For Australian Colonies and United Kingdom, See., per Albion, at 4 p.m. Correspondence for United Kingdom, Sea., per this route must be specially addressed and paid 8d per half ounce. The next English mail via San Francisco, will close at this office on Saturday, 35th inst. : Wednesday, Feb. 15. For Australian Colonies, per Rotorua, at 4 p.m (will connect with Orient steamer leaving Melbourne on 22nd inst.) (Signed) Ed. Cook, Chief Postmaster. Chief Post Office, Timaru, Feb, 8.1882.
