[Reotkr’s Agency.j Chili and Peru. - London, Jan. 28. Telegrams are to hand reporting that Chili has decided upon, the terms on which it will conclude a treaty of peace with Peru. The conditions are • the concession by the former of the province of Tarapaca in lieu of the transfer of the guano. deposits of Lobos Island, and an indemnity of twenty, millions, payable in sixteen years; in the meantime Chili to occupy Arica and retain it if the indemnity is not paid in the specified time. It is further announced that in the event of these terms being, refused by Peru, Chili will decline further mediation on the part of . the United StatesLondon Money Market . The London Stock market is recover-, iug from the crisis which recently arose from the panic on the Bourse. Consols have declined to 99f from 100 J. There are no other changes to report in the money market or in the markets for colonial produce. The New French Ministry. Paris. Jan. 28. It has transpired that M. Freycinet has partly completed the formation of a new Ministry, as follows: M. Frey-, ciinet, Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs ; M. Leon Say, Minister of Finance; M. Ferry Minister of Education; M.Tirard, Minister of Commerce.
