This country is at present held und( lease in large runs until the Ist Marcl 1883.' ' These runs, after agricultural block townships, plantation and other reserv( have been taken, will be sub-divided ini areas of about two or three thousand acr< and upwards, according to the nature ( the country, and will be offered for leas or for sale on pastoral deferred-paymenl in terms of “ The Land Act, 1877,” an " The Land Act Amendment Act, 1879.” •The agricultural blocks will be forthwit surveyed, and will then be offered ft selection on immediate and deferred paj monts. ) Areas exceeding 5,000 acres, will be h as runs lor ten years, from the Ist Marcl 1883, with pre-emptive rigtt over 32 aoresior homestead. Areas under 5,000 acres will be general! for sale on pastoral deferred payments. In order to give new pastoral lessee time to make arrangements, the license will, in .terras of the Land Acts, he sold b public auction, at the Land Office, Dunedir in the latter end of February, 1882, twelv months before possession is to be giver One year’s rent will be payable in ad vane on the license at the time of sale. It is well grassed well watered, sound .and healthy. Distance from port by good roads, am railways part of the way, from 30 to 16i miles. Maps and further particulars will b obtainable at the Land Offices of Nev Zealand early in December next, and a places in the Australian Colonies to b named in future advertisements. Suitable blocks of land will also, hi surveyed immediately in the Frovinoia District of Canterbury, for sale on pastora deferred payment, and will be offered fo: sale about March, 1882. WM.
