SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATIONS.
SECOND EDITION
The following is the result of the Scholarship Examination at the Timaru High School on Tuesday last, for pupils connected with the public schools in South Canterbury. There were four scholarships of ten guineas each, and the four first names on the list are those of the winners of the scholarships this year. The subjects of the examination were the four principal subjects in the syllabus for Standard V. of the Public Schools. Some of the candidates passed in Standard V. ; others in Standard IV.
