THE WAIMATE ELECTION.
[to the editor.] Sib, —As there are a great many professed Liberals in the field, I take this opportunity of warning the working men in the Waimate district to be careful in whose favor they record their vote on the 9th of and if they wish to record their vote in favor of a true Liberal, let them go straight for Mr W. J. Steward, and I think they will not make a mistake; And let every working man that has a vote go and record it, as it is his right, and I am sure that there is no employer that would withhold the time from him. Even if he did, there is one hour, from 5 to 6 o’cloek, which is, as it were, his own, and I am sure there will be ways and means of getting to the poll at the eleventh hour. By inserting this you will greatly oblige, yours, &c., FARMER. Otaio, Dec. 1.
