James Speight were nominated. The show of hands was in favor of Mr Speight. Taubanga. The candidates for the Tauranga electoral district were nominated to-day Messrs George Yosey J Stewart, G.B. Morris, Wm. Kelly, and. H. T. Rowe. The show of hands was in favor of Mr Stewart. Awartja. The following candidates were nominated for the Awarua Electoral District to-day : A. Kinross, J. W. Bain, D. Smyth, and J. P. Joyce. The show of hands was in favor of the latter. Motueka. Nominations: Messrs. Hursthouse, Gibbs, Huddlestone. Westport. Messrs. Eugene O’Connor and John Munro were nominated to-day. The show of hands was in favor of the former. Eeefton. Inangahua nominations : Messrs T. S. Weston, R. H. Reeves, and Wm. McLean. THIS DAY.
