[By Telegraph.]. YESTERDAY. Gisborne. Nominations: Messrs Macdonald, Locke, Gannon, and Porter. Thames. The Thames nomination of candidates took place to to-day. Mr John Sheehan and Mr Win. James Speight were nominated. The show of hands was in favor of Mr Speight. Taubanga. The candidates for the Tauranga electoral district were nominated to-day Messrs George Yosey J Stewart, G.B. Morris, Wm. Kelly, and. H. T. Rowe. The show of hands was in favor of Mr Stewart. Awartja. The following candidates were nominated for the Awarua Electoral District to-day : A. Kinross, J. W. Bain, D. Smyth, and J. P. Joyce. The show of hands was in favor of the latter. Motueka. Nominations: Messrs. Hursthouse, Gibbs, Huddlestone. Westport. Messrs. Eugene O’Connor and John Munro were nominated to-day. The show of hands was in favor of the former. Eeefton. Inangahua nominations : Messrs T. S. Weston, R. H. Reeves, and Wm. McLean. THIS DAY. Auckland City West. Dr Wallis, Messrs J. N. Dargaville, W. 0. Laing, and A. Fleming. Auckland City East. Sir George Grey and Mr M. Clarke. Auckland City North. Messrs Rees, Garrard, Thwaites, and Peacock, Eden, Messrs Reader Wood and Tole, Newton. Mr Swanson was elected unopposed, Parnell, Messrs Moss and Monk. Taranaki. Mr Joseph Colesby aud Colonel Trimble. Franklyn North. Messrs P. F. Buckland, Samuel Luke, Major Harris, and Mr John Gordon. Wanganui. Messrs J. Ballance and William Hogg Watt. Napier Borough. Messrs John Buchanan, Jrfstiu McSweeney, and J. W. McDugall. W AITEiIATA. Nominations Messrs Hurst and Allison.
Waipa. Messrs Whitaker, Jackson, Johns and MoMin. The latter formally announced his withdrawal from the contest. Waikato. Mr White was returned unopposed for Waikato. Manukau. Sir George M. O’Rorke and Mr Owen McGee. Mataura. ■The following were nominated as candidates for this electoral district to day. J. T. Thomson, Captain F. W. Mckenzie; and George T. Richardson. Mount Ida. Messrs Cecil Albert Delautour, and Mackay John Scobie McKenzie were the only two candidates nominated for Mount Ida. The show of hands was intavor of McKenzie. Rangitikei. Sir W.
