DESTRUCTIVE FIRE AT REEFTON.
[By Telegraph.] Reeftoh, Nov. 30, A great conflagration commenced after 2 o’clock this morning at Finlay’s bakery. The properties destroyed are Michael Dunn’s furniture warehouse and workshop; Frank Hampson’s shop and corn store: Finlay’s shop and bakery ; George Shephard’s old butchers shop, unoccupied, owned by Dawson ; Dawson’s Hall; Dawson’s large twostory Hotel ; Corbett’s-bakery and shop ; Dauk’s Hotel ; Collinga’ bootmaker’s shoo and workroom. The damage amounts to about £15,000. Very little of the property was insured. Fears are entertained of a lodger at Dawson’s named Peter Alstad having been bnrned. Search is now being made.
