THE MAYORALTY.

The only person nominated to-day for the office of Mayor of Timaru for the ensuing year was Mr J. H. Sutter, the present Mayor. The Returning Officer, Mr E. H. Lough, declared Mr Sutter duly elected. The Mayoral year commences on the third Wednesday in December in each year.
