New Zealand 5 per cents have suffered a decline of f, and are to-day quoted at 100| for 10-40 loan, and 1032 for 1889 oan. 4£ per cent 1879-1904 remain at 98-2-. Produce Markets. The market for colonial breadstuffs is unchanged. Adelaide wheat, ex store, quoted at 58s, and New Zealand ditto, 655. Adelaide flour, ex store, is worth 425. The total quantity of wheat afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,900,000 quarters. Australian tallow—Best beef 41s 6d ; best mutton, 455. A fair demand exists for most descriptions of hides. Further Arrests- ■ The stringent measures which have

been adopted by the Government in Ireland continne without abatement. Mr Dillon, M.P. for Tipperary, who was released from custody in August, and Heffennan,’another prominent agitator, who was also recently released, have been re-arrested. O’Brien, the editor of the “ United Ireland,” the organ of tho League, has been arrested. Filed. Telegrams received to-day from America state that the Irish agitators in that country are maddened at the action of the Irish Executive. Great Storm. A storm which raged yesterday on the English coast, destrojed fifty thousand pounds’ worth of property, and caused the death of fully two hundred Northumberland fishermen.
