She takes nearly 10,000 bushels of wheat for Auckland, and some original cargo shipped at Dunedin, The barque Chaudiere is making slow progress with her work, the rough seas of the past few days having prevented the taking of a donkey-engine on board required for hoisting cargo. Tp-day the swell had abated a good deal. The ship Pareora has arrived Home after a,passage of 100 days. Captain Edwin yesterday predicted more bad weather from the eastward, and round to south-west.
