The “Times” today publishes a paragraph staling that it has received information to the effect that the Indian Government has decided to withdraw the t r oops now stationed in the Chaman and Chnjuk Passes, in Southern Afghanistan, and that it is further intended to largely reduce the garrison at Quettah, hut that the troops in the Pisheen Valley will be retained there for the present. Cholera at Aden. Aden, Oct. 3. The outbreak of cholera at this place is now subsiding. Deaths from th e disease have been less frequent during the past few days, and it is hoped that the epidemic may soon be stamped out. The Troublesome Turk. Athens. Oct. 3, Intelligence has been received that despite the transfer of territory in Thessaly to Greece, a difficulty has arisen on the frontier, where the Turks are obstructing the occupation of the territory' by the Greeks, and it is apprehended some fresh trouble may arise.
