Venetia, with the London mails dated 20th August. Per Merchant Shipping and Under* writer’s Association, London, October Ist—Arrived—Dinapore, from Lyttelton, left June 10th ; and Formosa, from the same port, left June 18th. Victorian Revenue. The Victorian revenue returns published to-day, show the receipts for the present quarter to have amounted to £1,283,000, being an increase of £137,000 compared with the September quarter of 1880. The revenue for the year 1880-81 amounted to £5,301,000, being an increase of £71)1,000 as compared with 1870-80. The Customs revenue increased during the same period by £00,388, the laud revenue by £15,201, railway receipts by £25,505, and excise duties by £47,351,
