The day was very calm, so that the barque could make but slow progress after her apEearance in the offing. The steam launch illie Denham went out to her and arranged to tow her in to an anchorage, which she did very well, proving that she will be a very useful little craft in the port. The brigantine Defiance arrived yes- ; terday morning from Dunedin, and was brought up under the shelter of the Breakwater this morning.
