DISTRICT COURT.

TIMARU—THIS DAY. (Before His Honor Judge Ward.) An adjourned sitting of the District Court was held to-day, when the following cases were dealt with : Re Wm. Perry. Order of discharge granted on the application of Mr Reid. jHe Stephen Hoskins. Application for discharge, made by Mr Reid (for Mr Hamersley), adjourned till the 17th inst. This case had already been adjourned for an affidavit to bo filled by the debtor, and this not having been done, and Mr Reid stating that the debtor did not seem to take any interest in the procoedings, His Honor said he would adjourn the application this lime, but jf the necessary steps were not taken in the meantime the application should lapse. Re George Green. Application by Mr White for orders vesting (1) goods and chattels, and (2) book debts, in the trustee.

Orders granted, with costs against the estate.

Mr Toss will appeared to watch the proceedings on behalf of Messrs Wildie, Allan and Stumbles.

Re J. E. TJpton. Mr Clement appeared on behalf of the “ Waimate Times ” Company to ask for an adjournment of rule ordering the debtor to show cause, as he had been unable to serve the rule on the debtor, he keeping out of the way. Adjourned to the 17th inst. The Court then adjourned to the 17th inst.
