In the Jessie Nioool, W. Evans, agent and shipper : 1100 sacks oats. In the Young Dick, J. Jackson, agent: 1300 sacks wheat, 285 sacks oat*, 25 tons bran and sharps. Shippers—Agent; N.Z.L. andM.A. Co.; Evans. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Lillie Denham, steam launch, from Newcastle, daily. Eliza Mary, brigantine, from Dunedin, early. Waitaki, s.s., from Dunedin, on Friday. Annie Bow, barquentine, from Newcastle, early. ' _ Annie Wilson, schooner, from Dunedin, daily. ■ Chaudiere, barque, from Newcastle, early. The ship Candidate, 765 tons, is reported to be on the way from London direct to this port, having left on August 3. The schooners Young Dick and Jessie Niccol completed their outward loading to-day, and were expected to sail this evening. The Union Shipping ■ Company are making arrangements to open up a trade with Fiji, and steamers are now being built at Home to run on the line. Pending their completion the s.s. Taiaroa is to he put on so that a beginning may be made at once.
