■Mails, dose at the Chief Post 'Office Timaru, fov the .following places (subject to the necessary, alterations) as. under : SaUiirdayi Kept. 101 For ‘the United Kingdom, via San Francisco. i Fov Northern forts of New Zealand, per Penguin, at 2.50 p.m. For the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, the Continent, of--Europe, America, Africa, the Sandwich Islands, and the Mediterranean Ports, as follows : Money order*, registered letters, and newspapers, at 1.30 p.m. Ordinary letters at 2.30 p.m. Late fee letters will be received at the Chief Post Office tiil 2.50 p.m., and at the Railway Travelling Post Office mail van (Northern Express Train) till 3.20 p.m. The Omaha will leave Auckland for Chatham Islands about the 17th inst.
