Mails clbse at the Chief Post Office Tfmaru, for the following places (subject to the-necessary alterations) as under : Thursday, Sept. 8. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Te Anau. at <! am. Saturday, Sept, 10. For the United Kingdom, via San Francisco. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Penguin, at 2.50 p.m. For*the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, the Continent of Europe, America, Africa, the Sandwich Islands, and the Mediterranean Ports, as follows r Money orders, registered letters, and newspapers, at 1.30 p.m. Ordinary letters, at 2.30, p.m. Late fee letters will be received at the Chief Post Office till 2.50 p.m., and at the Railway Travelling 'Post Office mail van (Northern Express Train) till 3.20 p.m. The Omaha will leave Auckland for Chatham Islands about the 17tn inst.
