SCULLING RACES.

Sydney, Sept. 5. It is probable that another sculling match will be arranged between Rush and Laycowk for £2OO. The two first heats in the sculling races for the Walker Whisky Trophy', the prizes for which amount to £3OO, were rowed to-day on the Paramatta river, over a course between GJadesville wharf and Bath House, at Ryde. In the first division the result was as follows ; W. Trickett (Sydney) 1 J. J. Power (Twofold Bay) ... 3 C. Lay cock (Sydney) ... ... 3 The second division resulted as follows ; Elias P. Laycock (Sydney) ... 1 Shepherd (West Maitland) ... 2 McDonald, of Clarence River, who was drawn for this heat, did not start.
