New Zealand securities continue firm at the following quotations 5 per cent 10.40 loan, 10-i : 5 per cent 1880 loan, 103 ; 44 per cent 1870 1004 loan, 1004. The demand for Australian and New Zealand brcadstulfs continues. To-day’s quotations show a further advance of Is, Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, 575; New Zealand wheat, ex ship, 56s Gd. Adelaide Hour, ex warehouse, is unchanged at 40s Gd. At the vvool auction to-day 0200 bales were catalogued. A firm and active demand was experienced. The present series of wool sales will terminate on October 14. The fourth series commence on November 22.
