The markets for Adelaide and New Zealand . breadstuffs and Australian show no quotable change in prices since yesterday. The French Elections. Paris, August 22. The General Elections for the Chamber of Deputies commenced to day. The contest for this city resulted in the re-election of Radical members. M. Gambetta was returned by a very small majority. President Garfield’s Health. Washington, Aug. 22. A bulletin issued this morning reports that President Garfield has taken a less favorable turn. He has experienced severe attacks of vomiting and is now unable to take food through the mouth.
