WRECK OF THE RONA.

[By Telegraph.] Auckland, Aug. 18. There is little doubt but that the vessel reported by natives as wrecked on the coast, a few miles south of Kaipara Heads, is the schooner Ilona, which usually traded to Lyttelton. She left Auckland on August 1, and was due at Kaipara quite a week ago. Further particulars received to day state that the Maoris say the yards, blocks, and one anchor are upon the beach. The vessel is buried in sand. The Eona was commanded by Captain Kenneth McKenzie, half owner, who has had charge of the vessel since built, two years and a half ago. He has a wife and four children, residing at Oamafu. The names of the crew are :—Eobert Smith, Neil Car michael, Charles Johnson, and W. Eagle. The vessel was insured for £4OO, only about half its value. Mr X), H. McKenzie owns half interest,
