Mr C, N. Orbell invites tenders for ploughing at the Levels. A list is in circulation in Auckland for subscriptions to guarantee the expense of entertaining the Maori King, and a number of leading chiefs if they visit Auckland. Mr J. C. Frith headed the list with £2O. Other liberal donations were promised.
