MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office Timaru, for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : Thursday, July 14. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Arawata, at 6 u.m. Saturday, July 16. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Wanaka, at 2.50 p.m. For the United Kingdom, via San Fran, cisco, the Continent of Europe, America, Africa, and the Sandwich Islands, as follows : Money orders, registered letters, and newspapers, at 1.30 p.m. Ordinary letters at 2.30 p.m. Late fee letters will be received at the Chief Post Office till 2.50 p.m., and at the Railway Travelling Post Office mail van (Northern Express Train) till 3.20 p.m, A mail for Fiji will close at Auckland, per Southern Cross, about Monday, the 18th mat.
