Quarter past one a.m. on a sharp morning in winter is not a pleasant hour at which to he turning out of the blankets to catch a train. And yet the night excursion from Christchurch to Dunedin, carrying passengers to “do ” the Exhibition, was well patronised. The train arrived here as stated above, and took up several Timaru passengers.
